Given that the diffuser cap main benefits are to protect and naturally shape your curls whilst blow drying, we suggest that it works best with hair types that have curls starting from wavy hair (2C) up to coily hair (4C). Our customers with straight or wavy hair (2A and 2B) also use the Satin diffuser cap to speed up curls shape while doing heatless. It will also help enhance results of hair treatments.

The average blow-drying time is from 15 to 35 minutes. It varies depending on your hair’s length, volume, density, and porosity. You’ll gain time by using our diffuser cap rather than a traditional diffuser as it’s quicker and as a plus, you have your hands free!

Tip 1: When you first start using Soulta’s Diffuser cap, we recommend checking how wet your hair is every 5 minutes, this way you won’t leave for longer than necessary, which will influence the result.

Tip 2: Preferably remove water excess with a soft towel (try Soulta’s Perfect Towel) prior to putting the diffuser cap on. It will reduce drying time and better define your curls.

There are standard diffuser caps sold online that are made of plastic which, to summarize, simply won’t work. Our Satin Diffuser Cap’s design features internal satin layer, avoiding friction while blow-drying, guaranteeing an anti-frizz finish. Satin will also enable better air flowing through the cap and out, without overheating your head, and promoting a quicker and healthier drying process.

Our Satin Diffuser Cap will fit in 95% of the current hair dryers available in the market, including popular brands such as Dyson and Sharks. The gap was strategically built with a diameter of 12,5cm and we added an adjustable elastic band for use in smaller hair dryers. We recommend you clean the cap once every 5 uses. If you choose to do it by hand, use room temperature water and a non-abrasive washing liquid/powder. Satin dries quickly, so there is no need to wring it.

You can also use the washing machine: put the satin cap in a laundry net plus set a delicate washing cycle. Once washed, leave the cap to dry in a shady place.

Yes! The diffuser cap is perfect for enhancing hair treatment as it keeps the heat on your hair strands gently balanced. Remember to carefully read the using instructions of all products you apply on your hair and if it is indicated to be used with a heat source. Always respect the leave-in time to avoid an undesirable result, such as a rebound effect making you hair looking stiff rather than soft.

How to Use:

Super Tips:

🌡️ Moderate Heat: Avoid using your hair dryer at full power, as it can potentially damage both your hair and the cap, while also not delivering a satisfactory result in the end.

🌞 Temperature: take into account the season and climate of your location. During summer or in warmer areas, using cold setting on your hair dryer is recommended and can bring better results.

❄️ Frizz-Free Finish: Always opt for medium temperature, and during the last 3 minutes, switch to a cold air setting to seal your hair cuticles for a lasting, frizz-free effect.

    The Soulta Beauty satin diffuser cap was something that had been on my must have list for over 2 years. Well I found out I was pregnant and I told my husband that I was concerned about diffusing my hair during pregnancy because of the time and the back aches and the positions I’d have to be in. So My husband finally purchased it for me as a gift for Christmas and I was OVER THE MOON excited! No more back aches, no more tossing and turning to get the right angle, no more missing pieces of hair to dry, no more 45 minutes on just drying my hair and taking 3 hours to get ready. I was able to put the diffuser cap on, turn on my blow dryer, and do my makeup all at the same time, only needing to shift the cap left to right to get around my whole head saving me a whole hour of getting ready. Let me tell you HOLY VOLUME! My hair had so much volume, it was not even close to frizzy, and best part is NO BACK PAIN! I will never settle for the old fashion way of diffusing my hair again because of the beauty!!! 10/10!!!

    I absolutely love my satin diffuser cap!

    It really shifts the whole waiting for my hair to air dry naturally for two hours thing to something so convenient! Plus, my hair gets a kind of volume that’s totally unlike letting it air dry. I rarely stand there with a traditional diffuser because I can’t be bothered because it’s so heavy. I love how light and convenient Soulta’s diffuser is and it’s super easy to pack and bring in my suitcase. I also can’t say enough about their customer service who reached out to see how I was doing with my new products, offered me tips, and then followed up on my questions with more support. What a great business model! I’m off to go purchase their Octopus Brush now! I don’t have eight arms myself, but Soulta sure is making great looking curls easy to reach!

    I’ve only had a chance to use it once but it is amazing! I already had the plastic conair bonnet dryer and it’s fine but left my hair “wonky” and took forever. I’m disabled and can’t hold a hairdryer but I was able to use the countertop hair dryer with an extra small bungee cord. My hair looks “done” and bouncy nice waves for the first time in ages! And I can dry it without help! And it didn’t leave a red dent on my forehead! It’s also a more comfortable experience in general. And it’s so pretty! And it folds up small and can be tucked in with the dryer tube! Love love love! Thank you!

    I am enjoying the satin diffuser cap I bought from Soulta! I also use it for sleeping—I just tuck the diffuser part inside and it works just fine.

    There is one small issue I've shared with the Soulta customer service team, which is that the ribbon for tying the diffuser cap has a tendency to slide up inside of the sleeve where the ribbon is inserted, especially if the cap is stretched out to its fullest to put it over my curls. It was very difficult to get the ribbon back out when this happened, but I tied a knot on each end of it so that it would be too big to slip through and slide back up into the cap. It sounds like they will be updating this design soon. :)

    I still love the diffuser cap, even with this feedback, though, and I recommended Soulta to a friend who needed a satin bonnet, which she is very happy with, too.
