Given that the diffuser cap main benefits are to protect and naturally shape your curls whilst blow drying, we suggest that it works best with hair types that have curls starting from wavy hair (2C) up to coily hair (4C). Our customers with straight or wavy hair (2A and 2B) also use the Satin diffuser cap to speed up curls shape while doing heatless. It will also help enhance results of hair treatments.

The average blow-drying time is from 15 to 35 minutes. It varies depending on your hair’s length, volume, density, and porosity. You’ll gain time by using our diffuser cap rather than a traditional diffuser as it’s quicker and as a plus, you have your hands free!

Tip 1: When you first start using Soulta’s Diffuser cap, we recommend checking how wet your hair is every 5 minutes, this way you won’t leave for longer than necessary, which will influence the result.

Tip 2: Preferably remove water excess with a soft towel (try Soulta’s Perfect Towel) prior to putting the diffuser cap on. It will reduce drying time and better define your curls.

There are standard diffuser caps sold online that are made of plastic which, to summarize, simply won’t work. Our Satin Diffuser Cap will fit in 95% of the current hair dryers available in the market, including popular brands such as Dyson and Sharks. The gap was strategically built with a diameter of 12,5cm and we added an adjustable elastic band for use in smaller hair dryers. We recommend you clean the cap once every 5 uses. If you choose to do it by hand, use room temperature water and a non-abrasive washing liquid/powder. Satin dries quickly, so there is no need to wring it.

You can also use the washing machine: put the satin cap in a laundry net plus set a delicate washing cycle. Once washed, leave the cap to dry in a shady place.

Remember to carefully read the using instructions of all products you apply on your hair and if it is indicated to be used with a heat source.
